Bil Gebhardt, Senior Pastor
Bil was born in western Pennsylvania, just north of Pittsburgh. He earned his B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh and his ThM from Dallas Theological Seminary.
Bil has been the senior pastor at Fellowship since 1986. Bil's giftedness is in the area of teaching the Bible in a way that is fresh and culturally relevant while being faithful to sound exposition.
Bil and his wife, Velma, have two sons, two daughter-in-laws, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Marc Henderson, Director of Pastoral Care
Marc, a native of Jackson, Mississippi, moved to New Orleans and became a part of the Fellowship family in 1982. After a career as a financial analyst and then as a teacher at a Christian Elementary School, Marc joined the staff of Fellowship in 2005.
Marc and his wife, Abbie, are alumni of Mississippi State University, and have ministered to children and Senior Adults throughout their life together.
Matt Sylvester, Director of Worship
Matt grew up attending Fellowship. After many years of volunteering with our praise team and with our youth ministry Matt officially joined our staff in 2007 as the Worship Leader.
Matt and his wife, Heather, were both born and raised in New Orleans.
Jason Gebhardt, Media Director
Jason is responsible for producing our radio program, Fellowship in the Word. He also maintains our website and does the audio/video for Sunday services.
Jason and his wife, Shannon, have one daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren.
