How it all started...
Fellowship Bible Church was formed in 1976 as the result of several evangelistic Bible studies. The Church moved into our present facility in 1978. We are an independent Bible church not affiliated with any denomination. Our church philosophy was modeled after the original Fellowship Bible Churches planted in the Dallas area by Dr. Gene Getz.
Bil Gebhardt joined the pastoral staff as an associate pastor in 1982. In 1986 he was asked to become the senior pastor.
Over the years people have faithfully invited their friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors to visit our church. In 2002 we started a radio ministry called Fellowship in the Word. We are thankful that the Lord continues to draw people to our church and that we have enjoyed steady growth since our doors first opened in 1978.
Like any church we have people who have come from many different backgrounds. But one thing they have in common is a desire to know God personally and deeply. Many of those who now call Fellowship "home" are people that came out of a church or religious tradition that did not faithfully teach God's Word or present the gospel as a gospel of grace.
Perhaps the most frequent comment we hear is, "I've just never really heard the Bible taught like this before."

Expanding the vision...
Fellowship Bible Church has always emphasized sharing the Love of Christ and making disciples. We have grown in our outreach, ministries and impact on our community. Beyond the walls of the church, we have remained actively engaged in missions—locally, nationally, and globally.
What started as a small gathering has flourished into a vibrant church family dedicated to loving God, loving people, and making disciples.

Where we are headed...
As we look to the future, Fellowship Bible Church remains focused on its mission: helping people become committed followers of Jesus Christ for the glory of God. We believe God has greater things in store as we continue to grow in faith, serve our community, and reach the world with His love. We are committed to being what God intends His church to be and we believe that the Bible is clear about the purposes and functions of the church. A church should have vital learning, worship, relational and evangelistic opportunities. We believe God gives each church freedom in how it seeks to accomplishes those tasks.
